Since 2012, Dr. Jones has helped thousands of patients learn about cannabis as medicine. She is a passionate Patient Advocate, helping patients manage their illnesses with medicinal cannabis, as well as working to implement policy impacting those in the system harmed due to failed “War on Drugs.”

She also lobbied US Congress in August of 2019 to pass the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act. In February 2020, she was the first and only physician awarded the Patient Advocate of the year by the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) Nevada chapter. She is the current Director of Medical Voices for the Cannabis Equity and Inclusion Community of Nevada. Finally, she is honored to be a board member of the Association for Cannabis Health Equity and Medicine.
